Fantastic stay at the olive retreat. Really enjoyed our stay here with our dog & 12 week old baby 🙂 Very relaxing. Our dog loved playing with the neighbours dogs also - a big bonus :-). If you like thai food - there is a great thai just a few mins drive up the road - Oishii. Great to get a takeaway and enjoy it back in the olive retreat. Thanks again.

The Olive retreat was perfect for everything we had planned for the weekend - The kitchen was stocked with food and utensils for cooking our own meals, they had board games to play by the fire and a BBQ and rear entertaining area. The house is modern and spacious but has a cozy/homely feel and is filled with everything you could possibly need during your stay.
The grounds are beautiful, we spent our mornings exploring the property and olive trees which is a nice change from all the vineyards. Everything was easy to book and organise, the email directions and information were very helpful.
I would definitely recommend the Olive Retreat for anyone who wants a relaxing getaway.

Catering to 2 generations that are both well travelled (& somewhat fussy), Tabitha Hill Cottage ticked all of our boxes. Every convenience that one could ask for was there. Cleanliness, 2nd to none. Private and quiet yet convenient to all the Hunter Valley attractions. A perfect base. Oh and the extremely helpful and cheerful property owners and Kate from Getaway Hunter. Thank you so much Kate, Barbara and Brian. We truly had an awesome stay and if available (if I haven't over raved), will revisit when we return to the Hunter!

Our stay was fantastic and what you provided was everything we needed. I liked that it was very comfortable and spacious, perfect for our needs, convenient for what we were doing. Your knowledge, care and attention to us and the price was a significant plus. Good first and on going impressions! Would definitely come back. (Unfortunately you are already booked out on our next trip)

Hoopers Lane was a beautiful place to stay. It was exactly what we needed for our short get away. We chose Hoopers Lane because it was secluded but still close to main areas and vineyards.

The first thing we noticed at The Olive Retreat was the view down the driveway looking at the mountains above the olive trees. The team did a great job at making the house welcoming with a fire going and relaxing music playing. We will be back and will bring friends to enjoy the area. It sounded like it would be a quiet and relaxing retreat and the fact that we could bring our furry friend to enjoy the break with us helped. The directions provided were great and the team was quick and helpful to resolve some minor issues with payments.
It is a competitive price and allows us to enjoy the area while also having our own large space to relax if we did not feel like venturing through the valley. The property is in fantastic condition with a very welcoming atmosphere. We really enjoyed our stay at The Olive Retreat.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at Hoopers Lane Villas. Very nice and cosy, clean and spacious. Great location and very close to wineries and restaurants.

We loved the house, the trees and the deck...which we made good use of. Everything was clean and neat, the kitchen was well stocked with the basics, which we appreciated, and the beds were really comfortable. There were plenty of visitors in the shape of birds, kangaroos and the dogs from next door, Tilly and Rastas, who were popular with our boy. It's not far to anything but it's peaceful and secluded. The view to the hills over the olive grove and the spectacular night sky were highlights.
